Journeyman Field Gin

In an incredible opportunity to collaborate with the iconic Field Museum, Journeyman has created a Gin, Vodka, and Rye in celebration of the museums 125th anniversary. Journeyman set out to honor the museum and Chicago's history by utilizing botanicals that were introduced at the 1893 World’s Columbian Exposition in Chicago - the same year the museum originated. Journeyman was provided a list of over 1,500 different botanicals and plants currently housed by the museum and originally collected in 1893. The list narrowed to 50, and then down to the final 27. The 27 unique and historical botanicals have created a diversified and truly complex gin that reflects the amazing history of the Field Museum and the City of Chicago. Take a step back in time with this turn of the century gin.

Cedar Ridge Iowa Bourbon Whiskey

As the first distillery to open in Iowa since Prohibition, Cedar Ridge is preserving the legacy of a lost craft. Their techniques let each batch of whiskey take on the character of Iowa’s land and climate. So from the very first sip, every step of the process is evident – from grain to glass. For that’s what makes Cedar Ridge Whiskey authentic by nature. Cedar Ridge was named Distillery of the Year in 2017, and its bourbon received 91 points as Best Bourbon at the Los Angeles International Spirits Competition in 2018.

The brand name pays homage to cocaleros, the traditional coca leaf farmers in the Andes Mountains who have been cultivating the crop for its medicinal properties for centuries. They are an essential part of the rich heritage and history of the area, where the coca leaf is an intrinsic part of the lifestyle—used as a natural remedy for altitude sickness, to combat hunger, and to promote energy and stamina. Cocalero Clásico is infused with a proprietary recipe of 17 natural botanicals and herbs, with notable hints of coca leaf, juniper, guarana, orange peel, ginseng, ginger, green tea and lavender. A specialized steam distillation process pioneered by the perfume industry is used to extract the complex flavor of the coca leaf and the essential oils from the delicate blend of plants.
